What do you think it means? It's a CCIE-based website. How did you get here to begin with?

I have the IP Expert SP book. Need to start reading it again :) Also have a dynamips box doing the job...

I recertified doing the SP exam. I think recert in a different stream is the best way to go, because it gives you the option of sitting another lab if you want to. If you dont want to its all good - no is going to make you and you are still reertified.

I only wish I did it sooner after my lab. Would have been less study because everything is still fresh. But studying again just after passing a lab is hard work!

The INE SP rack topology is very close to being the same, with a couple more routers (and ATM), and two less switches (3550s only!). So if you own an R&S v3 rack, you should be mostly set.

You re-certified? How did you do it? The R&S written again, or the SP written?

The SP rack hardware is totally different to the old v3 R&S labs, and I guess there are only a couple of seats open at each location so they fill up fast.

It is using ancient versions of code and hardware with bugs and all - so its good to practice on racks with the same versions so you know what you will be facing on the day and give yourself a chance.

Im in at Sydney on March 1st, so am working towards that. I would have preferred Brussels but was a good chance to get down under again.
