If there wasn't a CCIE Written, lab test resources would be overwhelmed. And the great majority of people who would want to take the Lab would have no prayer of passing. The Lab is the real test - Ethan or anybody else who can pass it has proven he is CCIE caliber. Thank you, Jerry J.
