Passed Written Today

Yesterday I went to go and book my lab.  “Sorry you sat your written more than 18 months ago”  So what to do?

Call VUE and book an exam, that’s what!  So I booked it and passed it.  One less thing to worry about.

One thing I do wonder though…  Do Cisco get the score report and give me a Lab that has high scores in areas I didn’t do so well in?  For example, if I scored 0 for IPv6 would I get 15 IPv6 points in the lab?  If I scored 100% for BGP in the written would I only get 4 points for BGP in the lab?  etc etc

well done on your written - seems like you took it in your stride!
You have a lot of exams to your name - what is your trick to keeping up the impetus? Apart from beer? :)

    Cheers guys…

PK: I’ll be focussing on the lab now. Glad the written only took a few days out of my schedule.

CCIETalk: It takes about 10 days for the written to appear in the scheduling system. As soon as it does, I’ll be making a date with the big rack!

Ruth: In a previous life I was a trainer (CCSI and MCT). When I was there all they wanted us to do was exams. That helped a little I suppose, but really with this exam the fact I was already studying towards the lab was really all I needed. It was the first exam I sat for over a year and it was harder than the previous written I did in 2006. Some of the stuff I learned in Narbik’s bootcamp helped too.

Matt - I think they say it takes 10 days just to be safe. I scheduled mine 2 days after I passed the written :)

BTW How did you like Narbik’s class? I am scheduled to be there end of June here in Cali
